Goodbye, Hello Hope in Difficult Endings
If 2011 was not Ending, 2012 could not begin.
It’s that way in all of life. Endings must come before new beginnings can start.
Oh how we all love those new beginnings!
But endings can be mixed. Sometimes our endings bring a sigh of relief. And sometimes they’re confusing, and painful.
Either way endings will always come.
To embrace the cycles of life we must get used to endings.
“All things work together for the good of those who love Him...” (Rom 8:28)
It often takes time to see any good in heartbreaking endings. And sometimes when we can see absolutely no good in a loss, as I can attest to, we have to remember that God is our Redeemer and Shepherd. He eventually leads us to green pastures and comforts our souls. He will carry us through and take care of us. Always.
No matter what has happened God will carve a new path for YOU! The end of something like a job, an ability, a season in time, or losing someone we love, is the mark of a new season. And God will always keep moving us toward the purpose He created us for.
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion...” (Phil 1:6)

As 2011 comes to a close let’s reflect back on our year. Were our endings joyful or painful? Whatever the case may be we still have our own journey to continue with God. Let’s ask Him for our next steps to move forward serving Him.
God can give you a new direction, a spark of creativity, new forgiveness, a surprise provision, a new friend, a healing in your heart -- and above all an increased hope!
Keep Running the Race!
Nothing slows a runner down like a heavy backpack. Be sure to leave the parts of 2011 behind that will only be baggage in 2012.
Let’s rejoice that with Jesus that we will always have a new beginning! We know the Creator of the years, the seasons, and the days. God is the Creator of LIFE itself.
Let’s thank Him for all we have! God is always faithful,

Help Us START STRONG in 2012
Monthly Partners and Year-End Gifts Needed
We are excited to reach even more people in 2012 with salvation, discipleship, and crisis provisions. But we need your help.
“Behind the Scenes” in 2011 we ministered to the widowed, suicidal, and broken who wrote us letters. Most said they stumbled upon us online -- or a friend sent them our link. But how many others are falling through the cracks?
We need to be easier to find and to expand our reach. But it takes more finances than we currently have. Will you help us?
We need 100 more monthly supporters. Also, we need as many as possible, to send a special one time gift.
Your gifts will be used with integrity to share the Gospel and to challenge believers. We also want to keep our personal touch available for those who write to us in extreme crisis.
Your help is essential. Remember, no gift is too small.
Help us start strong in 2012. The time is NOW.
To give on our LDM secure site, to use PAYPAL, or find our mailing address, click on the donate button. THANK YOU!

A Few Highlights from 2011
____________________________
Josiah and Bethany Children's Home Reynosa, Mexico

Look at that sweet smile for a coloring book!
In 2011 you helped LDM with donations to help the orphans in the Josiah and Bethany Home and the needy in Reynosa, Mexico, with our partners Calvary Commission.
2011 Christmas Outreach
The 2011 Christmas Outreach was a huge success. The gospel was shared in the streets of Mexico to the very poor -- along with gifts of food, clothing and Christmas presents. It was a Merry Christmas for so many who have nothing!
Pray that the Lord will water the seeds of kindness and of Jesus -- that were planted in so many lives -- to take firm root and blossom!
Join the 2012 MEXICO EASTER OUTREACH
Join us for Easter! Bring your family or your whole Youth Group! Make a difference in 2012.
You can also mail beans and rice, kid's clothes, socks, shoes, and underwear, Spanish Bibles, new or in good shape toys, medicine, and hygiene products.
Just Released! NO KOMPROMISSE (that's ESTONIAN:)

Did you know Melody has
preached in Estonia? (Estonia is north of Latvia and west of Moscow, Russia.) Melody stood in the town square of Talin, Estonia with translators. The first one translated her English into Estonian, the second (who didn't speak English) translated from Estonian into Russian. A large crowd gathered and lives were given to Christ!
She also spoke in the largest church in Talin. Lives were touched again in that service and there were many tears before Melody left for Moscow. And now years later, Estonians have her book to read in their own language!
The Netherlands Keith Green Tribute Tour
In September artist Martin Brand did a “Keith Green Tribute Tour" across the Netherlands for two months. Martin translated Keith and Melody's songs into Dutch -- a full evening's worth! Melody sent a Video that was shown at every concert where she reminded the audience to serve God with all their heart and to reach the lost and hurting.
The tour was sponsored by Operation Mobilization (OM).
Melody and Operation Mobilization This fall Melody attended an OM Founders Evening in Kansas City. She's pictured with OM Founder and friend George Verwer.
LDM's Tijuana Mexico Outreach
This past year Last Days was able to help generate donations and 200 pairs of shoes for the needy in Mexico. LDM partners with Wayne & Carol Kiger-Rice of Voice of the Bride Ministries.
Wayne took donated gifts and food across the border just before Christmas. Of course the gospel is always shared.
The smallest gift means so much to children who have almost nothing.

Carol and Rescue-Pup Frankie Prepare Tijuana "Family Boxes" for Christmas
Pray that border restrictions on food would be lifted. Produce & fruit are restricted, and this makes it difficult to get nourishing items to people who are in need.
Do you live near San Diego CA? If you do, you can help out! Even for an hour a week, or per month. A lot of food is available, but there are not enough people to help pick it up.
Wayne does the hard and dangerous stuff, taking it all over the border, waiting hours to cross, always being pulled over for inspections. Pray for some extra help with food runs. How about YOU?
LDM Joplin Missouri Disaster Relief Fund Your gifts made a difference!

In response to the May 22nd F5 tornado that ripped through Joplin, your donations made a difference. LDM partnered with a local church in Joplin to decide where the funds were given -- in the NAME of JESUS!
Thank you for responding to the needs of others when calamity hits hard. The LDM Disaster Fund has brought blessings to so many around the world when tragedy strikes hard.
Thank you for trusting us to get your gifts to people on the ground.
